About TransAmerica

The TransAmerica Life Insurance Company was established as a small company in Italy nearly a century ago by an entrepreneur known as A.P. Giannini. Before finding its niche in the fields of insurance and finance, the company tried its hand at many different industries; banking, motion pictures, and even an airline being among them. As a subsidiary of the Netherlands-based, multinational Aegon Group, they have a total of $44 billion in financial assets, with $40 in net life insurance. TransAmerica Life Insurance Plans

TransAmerica's term life insurance policies are flexible, with competitive pricing. These policies can be renewed to age 95.

Term Life Insurance: Best suited for younger individuals and families, this plan provides financial help in the case of premature death. Policyholders can opt for 10, 15, 20 or 30 year term periods, or a yearly renewable policy that guarantees premiums for the first five years if they apply for the Trendsetter Super Series.

Whole Life Insurance: These plans, such as the TransSecure and Final Expense Provide coverage in-force during the insured's entire lifetime, as long as premiums are paid. Policyholders have the ability to build cash value on a tax-deferred basis.
Universal Life Insurance: Flexible, permanent life insurance policies, such as TransValue, TransUltra SP/LP, and TransAce SP/LP.
Survivorship Universal Life: Policies such as TransAce Survivor GL/EX. Also known as second-to-die insurance; provides a death benefit which can be used to help pay estate taxes
Variable Univeral Life: Offers the protection of life insurance with earnings potential through investment options. Available plans include TransAccumulator VUL, TransUltra VUL, and TransSurvivor VUL.
