About the Company
Sun Life is a Canada based insurance company that was founded in 1865 by a man named Mathew Gault. Gault was an Irish immigrant that went to Canada in 1842. He and his family suffered many financial hardships based on deaths in their family. After working on domestic operations for foreign insurance companies, Gault decided to start his own company. The company has survived and thrived over the years and remains a financially strong company today.

Term Life Insurance Products
Sun Life's term life products offer the following features and benefits:
- The death benefit is only paid out if the policyholder dies while the policy is in effect.
- The term of the policy can last between five and thirty years.
- There is no cash value accumulation with this policy.
- The premiums with a term life policy are much lower than they are with a permanent policy.
