About the Company
Oxford Life Insurance Company was founded in Arizona in 1965 and is a member of AMERCO, a publicly traded financial holding network. Oxford life provides life insurance, annuities, and Medicare supplemental insurance for the senior market. In 1997 the company acquired Encore Financial, Inc. and in 2000, Oxford Life acquired Christian Fidelity Life Insurance Company In February 2006, they acquired Dallas General Life Insurance Company.
In addition to offering life insurance products and annuities, Oxford Life offers Advance Wealth Transfer, a product that allows policyholders to pass wealth on to their heirs with minimal tax consequences.
Term Life Insurance Products
Oxford Life does not offer term life insurance products, but they do offer the following whole life products:
Assurance
- This policy does not require a medical exam.
- This is a level policy, which means that your premium rates will never increase, and your coverage will never decrease.
- This is issued to people ages 0-85.
- There is an immediate death benefit plan.
- Face amounts for this policy range between $3,000 and $25,000.
- There is a cash value accumulation with this policy.
- Benefits are income tax free.
Advance Wealth Transfer
- This policy offers a death benefit and living benefits.
- It is designed to transfer wealth to heirs while paying minimal taxes.
- The cash value increases annually.
- There is a loan feature that allows you to access cash values.
- The Terminal Illness Benefit allows you to have 75% of your death policy before you pass on if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness and are given twelve months or less to live.
- It offers a Nursing Home Benefit.
- The policy offers a Home HealthCare Benefit.
