Term Life Insurance Products
Chesapeake Life Insurance company offers several different plans available for people of all ages. The following policies are available:
Guaranteed Level Term Plans
- The ten year policy is available for people aged 18-75.
- The fifteen year policy is available for people aged 18-70.
- The twenty year policy is available for people aged 18-65.
- The thirty year policy is available for people aged 18-45.
Many of Chesapeake's term life insurance products come with a terminal illness accelerated benefit provision. This provision allows policyholders to access 50% of the benefit if he/she is diagnosed with a terminal illness and is given a year or less to live.
Many of Chesapeake's term life insurance policies have a conversion privilege. The policy may be converted into any available policy that is not a term life policy. The policy may be converted before the insured reaches age 70 and/or before the term life policy expires.
Term life insurance policies are excellent temporary life insurance policies. They are great for people who want extra financial security over a short period of time.
The death benefit with a life insurance policy is only paid if the policy holder passes on while the policy is in effect.
