Allianz Life Insurance began in 1896 when a man named Henry Little formed an insurance company called North American Casualty. North American Casualty was acquired by Allianz SE of Munich in 1979, and Allianz SE is now one of the largest integrated financial service organizations in the world. They operate in 70 countries, and Fortune ranked them as the 16th largest corporation in the world in 2006.
Allianz Life offers their individual insurance products through over 240,000 agents, registered representatives, and financial planners across the nation.
Allianz Term Life Insurance Products
Allianz Life Insurance Company's Term Life products offer the following benefits and features:
- A choice between ten and twenty year term policies.
- A conversion option that allows you to change your term life policy to a universal life policy when your term life policy expires.
- The option to have an annual renewable option at the end of your term.
- Special terminal illness options: If a policyholder is diagnosed with a terminal illness and receives a life expectancy estimate of 12 months or less, the policy holder may be able to take their death benefit payout before he/she passes on. The policy holder can take out 100% of the amount he/she is eligible for.
- Disability options: Allianz Life will waive your premium payments until you have recovered. The policy holder will have to fulfill eligibility requirements to receive this benefit, and this benefit is not available in all states.
Allianz also offers fixed index universal life, universal life, fixed annuities, variable annuities, and long term care insurance.
